Melisa Clayton Allardice opened Blue Rocks in 2022 on St Michaels Avenue in Nature's Valley, between the Tsitsikamma forest and the sea and a short walk from the beach and lagoon. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, cooked from scratch with local, organic ingredients where possible.
The menu runs from ceviche and seafood platters to curries, wood-fired pizzas, burgers and fish and chips, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Children have an outdoor playground, dogs are welcome, and tables can be reserved. The restaurant also hosts special events and wedding receptions.
